The ExxonMobil staff member, James Ikenna Onuoha, who allegedly raped a 14-year-old girl, has been remanded in Kirikiri prison.
According to the Nigerian Tribune,Onuoha was, on Thursday, arraigned before an Igbosere Chief Magistrates' for allegedly raping a 14-year-old girl (names withheld).
According to police prosecutor, Inspector Stephen Agbonedeso, the defendant allegedly committed the offence at Samuel Amoore Street, Idowu Estate, Oke Ira Nla, Ajah, Lagos State, on January 4.
When the charges were read, the defendant pleaded not guilty to the charge.
The Magistrate, Mrs O. A. Ogunbowale, granted him bail in the sum of N2 million and two sureties each in like sum.
He was, however, remanded in prison pending when he would perfect his bail conditions
